Megumi Nakajima, Maon Kurosaki, Konomi Suzuki to Perform in Bangkok Concert

Anime Festival Asia and Asia Comic Con announced last Friday that they will hold the I Love Anisong concert at the Royal Paragon Hall in Bangkok, Thailand on June 9, with Megumi Nakajima, Maon Kurosaki, and Konomi Suzuki as performers.

Nakajima is best known for her breakout role of Ranka Lee after winning a nationwide singing and acting audition for the Macross Frontier anime. She also performed the theme songs for both seasons of Lagrange - The Flower of Rin-ne and voiced the character Grania. She played the part of Altene "Lene" in the series Busou Shinki. Nakajima also sang and acted in Basquash!, Croisée in a Foreign Labyrinth - The Animation, Kämpfer, Kobato., and Tamayura. She was tapped to lend her singing voice to the Vocaloid GUMI, the mascot character for Megpoid's singing synthesizer. She put her musical career on hiatus on March 2014, and returned in December 2016, performing the opening theme song for the Fuuka anime, and has since then also performed the opening theme song for the Recovery of an MMO Junkie anime.

Kurosaki was discovered while singing at the Dear Stage bar in Akihabara in 2008. She made her major debut in 2010, with her first single "H.O.T.D.," debuting in September of that year. The single was used as the ending theme song for the Highschool of the Dead anime. She has since performed theme songs for such anime as A Certain Magical Index II, Hakuōki: A Memory of Snow Flowers, Space Battleship Yamato 2199, Jormungand Perfect Order, Strike the Blood, Tokyo Ravens, The Fruit of Grisaia, School-Live!, Drifters, and Dances with the Dragons.

Suzuki debuted at age 15 after winning Animax's fifth All-Japan Anison (anime song) Grand Prix singing contest in 2011. She has since performed songs for Re:ZERO -Starting Life in Another World-, No Game, No Life, Dusk maiden of Amnesia, The Pet Girl of Sakurasou, WATAMOTE, Freezing Vibration, Lord Marksman and Vanadis, Absolute Duo, BBK/BRNK, Ange Vierge, and Akashic Records of Bastard Magical Instructor, among others. She made her major voice-acting debut in the Lost Song anime, although she previously had a minor role in Dusk maiden of Amnesia.
