Soul Calibur VI Fighting Game Reveals Yoshimitsu in Video

Bandai Namco Entertainment announced on Friday that Yoshimitsu is returning as a playable character in the Soul Calibur VI fighting game. The company streamed an introduction video on Friday.

The game will ship for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC via Steam this year in Japan, Europe, and North America. Previously revealed characters include Mitsurugi, Sophitia, Grøh, Nightmare, Xianghua, Kilik, Ivy, Zasalamel, Siegfried, The Witcher's Geralt of Rivia, and Taki.
The Soul Calibur series began with the Soul Blade game in 1995. The 3D fighter features characters who all utilize weapons in combat.
The previous main installment in the series, Soul Calibur V, shipped for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in 2012.
