Konro Hato's Adult Manga Gets 'Joshiochi!' Anime Shorts Premiering on July 1

"Ecchi slapstick" series centers on girl who falls through apartment room floor into man's room

Tokyo MX and ComicFesta announced on Friday that Konro Hato's Onna no Ko ga Ochita saki wa, Ore no Musuko no Sakippo Deshita manga is getting a series of anime shorts. The anime is titled Joshiochi! 2-kai kara Onna no Ko ga...Kudattekita (Joshiochi! A Girl Fell from the 2nd Floor).

The anime will premiere on July 1 on Tokyo MX. A "complete edition" will stream on ComicFesta's Anime Zone website.

The "ecchi slapstick" manga centers on part-time worker Sōsuke Aikawa, who lives in a run-down apartment. One day he hears a creaking sound from his ceiling, and suddenly the resident of the apartment above his, Sunao Unyū, falls through a hole that appears in his ceiling onto his bed. Thus starts Sōsuke and Sunao's comical life of living together.

The anime stars:

Tomoshiyo Jinki is directing and writing the scripts at animation studio ark. Satoshi Urushihara is the character designer, Takahiro Enomoto is the sound director at Studio Mausu, and Suiseisha is credited with production. Saki Hazuki is performing the theme song "Koi no Ana."

Suiseisha publishes the manga digitally.

Previous anime to debut through ComicFesta Anime Zone include Sōryo to Majiwaru Shikiyoku no Yoru ni... in April 2017, Skirt no Naka wa Kedamono Deshita in July 2017, Omiai Aite wa Oshiego, Tsuyoki na, Mondaiji. in October 2017, 25-Sai no Joshi Kōsei: Kodomo ni wa Oshierarenai Koto Shite Yaru yo in January, and Sweet Punishment in April. The anime have "regular editions" that air on television and "complete editions" with explicit scenes that are available through ComicFesta Anime Zone.
