Persona 3, Persona 5 Dancing Games Head West in Early 2019

posted on by Jennifer Sherman
Releases include English dubs, subs in 5 languages

Atlus announced on Thursday that its Persona 3 Dancing Moon Night and Persona 5 Dancing Star Night games will launch under the titles Persona 3: Dancing in Moonlight and Persona 5: Dancing in Starlight in the Americas and Europe in early 2019. An English website for the releases also opened, and the official PlayStation YouTube channel began streaming announcement trailers for the games.

The releases will feature all of the songs from the Japanese versions. The Western versions will include a full English dub, dual audio options, and English, French, Italian, German, and Spanish subtitles.

Both games launched on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita in Japan on May 24.

Atlus release both games separately but also in combo releases in Japan. The "Persona Dancin' Allstar Triple Pack" for PlayStation 4 includes both games along with a digital download of Persona 4: Dancing All Night, and the "Persona Dancin' Deluxe Twin Plus" for PlayStation Vita includes both games and DLC costumes from other Atlus games. Both packs include a full soundtrack and package art by series character designer Shigenori Soejima.

The Persona 4: Dancing All Night game shipped in Japan in June 2015. Atlus USA released the PlayStation Vita game in North America in September 2015 and NIS America released the game in Europe in November 2015. In the game, Persona 4 characters engage in a "dance battle" with the Shadows in the mysterious world of "Mayonaka Stage."
