Dub debuts at Anime Expo on July 4

Aniplex of America began streaming a trailer on Friday for the Fate/Grand Order VR feat. Mash Kyrielight PlayStation VR game on Friday. The video is the English version of the game's third Japanese promotional video, and it introduces another story provided by the project in the form of an "Altria Pendragon VR Drama."

Aniplex of America announced at its panel at A-Kon on Friday that Fate/Grand Order VR Experience will be available at Anime Expo, which will be held in Los Angeles on July 4-8. In the experience, players can join Saber-class Servant Altria Pendragon and Shielder-class Demi-Servant Mash Kyrielight on a new mission. The game's new English dub will debut at Anime Expo starring Kari Wahlgren as Altria and Erica Mendez as Mash. Gameplay stations will be available by appointment at the event.

The "Fate VR drama" project allows players to enter the world of Fate/Grand Order and meet with the Servant Mash Kyrielight. The video above teases the story about a brief rest with Artoria after training with Mash. However, the respite is suddenly interrupted by a battle.

The project launched in Japan on December 6.

Aniplex released the Fate/Grand Order smartphone game in Japan in summer 2015, and it has been downloaded more than 13 million times. The game received an English release in the United States and Canada on June 25, 2017. The game received more than 100,000 downloads in the first 12 hours after launching.

A 74-minute television anime based on the game, titled Fate/Grand Order: First Order, aired in Japan on December 31, 2016. Aniplex of America, Crunchyroll, and Daisuki streamed the special the same day. Aniplex of America released the special on Blu-ray Disc in North America on October 24 with Japanese and English audio.

The franchise also inspired a stage play that ran from July 14-17 at the Zepp Blue Theater in Roppongi, Tokyo. Additionally, two manga adaptations are in the works. Fate/Grand Order -mortalis:stella- launched in Ichijinsha's Monthly Comic Zero-Sum magazine in July, and Fate/Grand Order: Turas Réalta- launched in Kodansha's Bessatsu Shōnen Magazine on August 9.

Type-Moon also announced in July that it is working with Aniplex, Delight Works Inc., and Sega to launch the Fate/Grand Order Arcade game in Japanese arcades this year. Two new anime shorts, Fate/Grand Order x Himuro no Tenchi: 7-nin no Saikyō Ijin-hen (Fate/Grand Order x Himuro's World: Seven Most Powerful Great Figures Chapter) and Fate/Grand Order: Moonlight/Lostroom- will air on New Year's Eve.
