Aniplex of America announced via a live stream on Tuesday that it will stream the Yuuna and the Haunted Hot Springs and Cells at Work! anime on Crunchyroll for the summer simulcast season.

In Japan, Yuuna and the Haunted Hot Springs (Yuragi-sō no Yūna-san) will premiere in Japan on July 14 at 11:30 p.m. Aniplex of America confirmed that it will premiere on Crunchyroll on July 14 but did not reveal a premiere time.

Seven Seas Entertainment is releasing the original manga series in English and it describes the story:

Homeless and haunted by ghosts, high schooler Kogarashi thinks his luck has finally turned when he finds Yuragi-sou—a cheap boarding house that was formerly a hot springs inn, now full of super sexy, scantily clad female tenants. If Kogarashi can use his spirit abilities to banish the ghost that haunts the inn, he can even live there rent-free! But when the ghost, a beautiful teenage girl named Yuuna, appears before him, Kogarashi takes pity on her and is suddenly not so sure about the exorcism. Will he help save Yuuna from becoming an evil spirit? And what supernatural secrets do the other boarders hold?

Tsuyoshi Nagasawa (Clockwork Planet, Nyaruko: Crawling with Love!, MM!) is directing the series at XEBEC. Kyoko Taketani (key animator for Negima!, To Love Ru: Darkness) is the character designer, Hideaki Koyasu (Lance N' Masques, Three Leaves, Three Colors, GJ Club) is handling the series composition, Jin Aketagawa (To Love Ru: Darkness, Is the order a rabbit?, High School DxD) is the sound director, and Tomoki Kikuya (Squid Girl, Eromanga Sensei, Hidamari Sketch) is composing the music. Luna Haruna will perform the opening theme song "Momoiro Typhoon" (Peach-Colored Typhoon), and Miyuri Shimabukuro, Eri Suzuki, and Rie Takahashi will perform the anime's ending theme song.

Aniplex of America already announced that it will screen the first episode of Cells at Work! at Anime Expo. The anime will premiere in Japan on Saturday, July 7 at 24:00 (effectively midnight on Sunday morning).

Kodansha Comics is publishing the original manga in English, and it describes the story:

The average human body contains about 60 trillion cells, and each of them has work to do! But when you get injured, viruses or bacteria invade, or when an allergic reaction flares up, everyone from the silent but deadly white blood cells to the brainy neurons has to work together to get through the crisis!

Kenichi Suzuki (JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, Drifters) is directing the anime at david production, and Yuuko Kakihara (Tsuki ga Kirei, Persona 4 The Animation) is in charge of series composition, and both Suzuki and Kakihara will pen the scripts. Takahiko Yoshida (Welcome to the NHK, Yowamushi Pedal) is designing the characters and is also credited as chief animation director, while Kenta Mimuro is credited as cell character designer, prop designer, and animation scene animation director. Keiko Tamaki is credited for sub-character design. Kenichiro Suehiro (Re:Zero, Girls' Last Tour) is composing the music at MAYUKO.
