posted on by Crystalyn Hodgkins
Bandai Namco Entertainment Europe began streaming a launch trailer on Friday for the New Gundam Breaker game. The video previews SKY-HI's theme song "Snatchaway."
The game launched worldwide on Friday (Thursday in Japan) for the PlayStation 4. The game will have a delayed launch on PC this summer.
The game stars:
Mariya Ise as Iori Kōra
Marina Inoue as Ryōko Ōtori
Rie Murakawa as Marika Sakurai
Ayane Sakura as Chinatsu Misaka
Sumire Uesaka as Shion Daikūji
Those who pre-ordered the game will get the "Its Name is Super Fumina!" mission. The game has both a standard edition and a Build G-Sound Edition, which includes songs from the Gundam Build Fighters series and the previous Gundam Breaker games.
The game is the latest installment in the Gundam Breaker series and uses Unreal Engine 4.
The Gundam Breaker series allows players to take various real-life Gundam model kits and use parts from the kits to create their personalized mobile suit. Players can then take their custom mobile suit and fight other players or play cooperative scenarios.
Bandai Namco Entertainment released the first game for PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita in October 2013, followed by Gundam Breaker 2 for PS3 and PS Vita in December 2014. The Gundam Breaker 3 game shipped for the PS4 and PS Vita in Japan in March 2016, and the game received an English release in Southeast Asia in April 2016.
