The official Twitter account for Shinchosha's Kurage Bunch manga website announced on Friday that the website will launch a new serialized manga based on a story by Carlo Zen (The Saga of Tanya the Evil) on June 29. Yoshinao Shina is drawing the manga, which is titled Baikoku Kikan (Treason Agency).
The account teases a female protagonist with a "great (?) smile." The English subtitle on the teaser image is "The Queen of the Opera." Author Zen described the manga as a story of "persisting in the name of peace," and posted a sample page.

Zen launched the The Saga of Tanya the Evil light novel series with illustrations by Shinobu Shinotsuki in 2013, and Kadokawa published the ninth volume in January. Chika Tōjō's manga adaptation is serializing in Kadokawa's Monthly Comp Ace magazine, and the ninth volume shipped in April. Yen Press has licensed both for North America.
The novels inspired an anime adaptation that premiered in January 2017. An anime film has been green-lit.
