Comico Ends Netojū no Susume/Recovery of an MMO Junkie Manga Due to Author's Health

Comico announced on Saturday that it is officially ending serialization of Rin Kokuyo's Netojū no Susume manga due to Kokuyo's health. Comico discussed the situation with Kokuyo, and came to the decision because restarting the manga would be difficult for Kokuyo.
Kokuyo launched the manga in October 2013 on the Comico website, and put the manga on hiatus in July 2015. Comico published the manga's 87th chapter on the site a week before announcing the hiatus. Comico published the manga's second compiled volume in print in July 2015.
The manga inspired a 10-episode television anime adaptation that premiered in October 2017. Crunchyroll streamed the anime as it aired with English subtitles under the title Recovery of an MMO Junkie, and Funimation streamed the show's English dub.
Funimation describes the story:
30-year-old Moriko Morioka has given up on reality! Forget dating and responsibilities—she's escaping to the world of online gaming. Here, she starts a new life as the handsome character Hayashi who, while learning the game, receives help from a beauty named Lily. The longer she plays, the more attached she grows, and soon her online connection will lead to an exciting IRL encounter!
An episode 11 of the anime was bundled with the show's Blu-ray Disc box set in Japan in December. Crunchyroll began streaming the episode in December.
