Takahashi is group's last remaining member

The official website of the Dorothy Little Happy music group announced on July 1 that Mari Takahashi will graduate from the group in December, with a final "graduation performance" by Takahashi also scheduled for December.

Takahashi is the sole remaining member of Dorothy Little Happy after Kana Shirato graduated from the group and retired from the entertainment industry in July 2017. The announcement of Takahashi's graduation did not specify whether the group name will continue, or if it will be dissolved.

The group began with six members in 2010, though Michiyo Suzuki graduated from the group in 2010 not long after the release of their first single "Jump!" The group continued with five members until Rūna Akimoto, Mimori Tominaga, and Kōmi Hayasaka graduated from the group in 2015, leaving Shirato and Takahashi as the sole two members until Shirato's aforementioned graduation last year.

Takahashi became a voice actress under the talent management agency Object last October.

The group has released 13 singles, two albums, and three mini-albums. The group provided the ending theme song to the Jewelpet: Magical Change anime in 2015.
