Senran Kagura Shinovi Master premieres in October

Crunchyroll revealed on Thursday that it will stream the second season of the Senran Kagura television anime series under the title Senran Kagura Shinovi Master. The show is a Crunchyroll co-production, and it will begin streaming this fall worldwide except for Asia. Crunchyroll began streaming the English-subtitled teaser.

The full teaser visual featuring Yumi (voice by Yumi Hara) and Fubuki (voiced by Kana Asumi) is below.

The season, titled Senran Kagura Shinovi Master: Tokyo Yōma-hen- in Japan, will premiere in October on AT-X.

The anime's cast members are reprising their roles from the game series and previous anime.

Tetsuya Yanagisawa (High School DxD, Daimidaler: Prince vs. Penguin Empire) is directing the anime at TNK (Doreiku The Animation, High School DxD BorN). Yukinori Kitajima (BBK/BRNK, Brynhildr in the Darkness), who provided the original story for the first television anime, is returning to handle series composition and the script. Junji Gotō (School Days, High School DxD BorN) is designing the characters and serving as chief animation director with Tsutomu Miyazawa (Samurai Bride, Soul Buster). Series producer Kenichirō Takaki is returning as "bakunyū producer" (large breast producer), and Keisuke Kawai (High School DxD BorN, Daimidaler: Prince vs. Penguin Empire production producer) is animation producer.

Other staff members include:

Sayaka Sasaki is performing the new season's opening theme song "Scarlet Master." Sasaki also performed the first season's opening song. Mia REGINA is performing the ending theme song "Junsei Erotic" (Genuine Erotic).

The Senran Kagura: Ninja Flash! television anime premiered in 2013, followed by the Senran Kagura: Estival Versus - Festival Eve Full of Swimsuits original video anime (OVA) in 2015. Funimation streamed the television series as it aired in Japan, and released the series on Blu-ray Disc and DVD. Crunchyroll is also streaming the series.
