Anime NYC to Host Aimer for Fate/stay night: Heaven's Feel Event

Aniplex of America and the Anime NYC convention announced at Aniplex's Otakon panel on Friday that this year's Anime NYC will host Japanese music artist Aimer as part of a "Fate/stay night: Heaven's Feel Special Event Featuring Aimer" on November 17. Aimer will perform a live concert at the end of the event.
The two-hour event, focusing on the Fate/stay night: Heaven's Feel anime films and Fate/stay night series will also feature English voice actors Kari Wahlgren (Saber), Cristina Vee (Sakura Matō), Bryce Papenbrook (Voice of Shirō Emiya), and Tony Oliver (Lancer, English ADR Director). The event will take place in the Javits Center in Manhattan and will require both an Anime NYC badge and a separate event ticket to attend. Tickets for the event begin at US$25 and will be available for presale on August 14 for Anime NYC Mega Ticket holders and on August 15 for all Anime NYC attendees.
Aimer performed the theme song for Fate/stay night: Heaven's Feel I. presage flower, the first film in the Fate/stay night: Heaven's Feel trilogy. Aimer also performed theme songs for Fate/stay night: Unlimited Blade Works, Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress, Bleach, No. 6, Gundam UC, Natsume Yūjin-Chō Go, Natsuyuki Rendezvous, and Terror in Resonance, among others.
Anime NYC will be held at the Javits Center from November 16-18. Crunchyroll is the convention's title sponsor, with Aniplex, Funimation, Viz Media, GKids, Kinokuniya Bookstore, Kodansha Comics, New York Asian Film Festival, Sentai Filmworks, Subway Cinema, Sunrise, Tokyo Otaku Mode, Vertical, and Yen Press also listed as sponsors.
The convention will host the Anisong World Matsuri live concert series for the first time at this year's event. The event will host Japanese music artists Luna Haruna, TRUE, Konomi Suzuki, Morning Musume。'18, Shoko Nakagawa, Hironobu Kageyama, and Hiroshi Kitadani in performances on November 16 and 17 at the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York.
The convention will host the That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime anime's director Yasuhito Kikuchi and character designer Ryouma Ebata. Voice actor Tohru Furuya will make his first appearance in New York City at this year's convention.
