Bandai Namco Games released Ace Combat Infinity as the first free-to-play Ace Combat game for the PlayStation 3 in May 2014. The most recent game in the series, Ace Combat: Assault Horizon Legacy Plus, shipped for the Nintendo 3DS in Japan in January 2015 and in February 2015 in North America and Europe.
