Bandai Namco Entertainment America began streaming an English launch trailer for the Naruto to Boruto: Shinobi Striker game on Friday.

The game launched for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC via Steam in the Americas, Europe, and Southeast Asia on Friday. The game launched in Japan for PlayStation 4 on Thursday.

Game Jikkyousha Wakuwaku Band are performing the game's theme song "Signal."

The Uzumaki Edition of the game for PS4 or Xbox One, which is available in Europe and Southeast Asia, includes a season pass and figures of Naruto and Boruto. The season pass includes nine DLC packs and the "Great Sages of the Mount Myouboku" accessory. People who pre-ordered the game received the “Naruto 7th Hokage” costume and early access to the Master character Pain.

Bandai Namco Entertainment America describes the game:

Naruto to Boruto: Shinobi Striker is a high-speed four vs. four multiplayer title that encourages cooperative play through the use of character-specific roles. Characters are split up into four roles: Attack, Ranged, Defense, and Heal. Teams that utilize these four types of characters will be formidable opponents on the battlefield.

Soleil, a subsidiary of Valhalla Game Studios, developed the game. Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine describes the game as an "acrobatic ninja battle" game. The game has an online component, and players can form a four-person cell in multiplayer mode to fight against another four-person cell for a total of eight players.
