Haikyu!! Manga Gets Claymation Short for Jump Special Anime Festa 2018 Event

This year's 40th issue of Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine revealed on Monday that Haruichi Furudate's Haikyu!! manga is inspiring a clay-animated project that will screen at the Jump Special Anime Festa 2018 event.
Other franchises represented at this year's event include Kimetsu no Yaiba, The Promised Neverland, Black Clover, Hinomaru Zumō, Dragon Ball Super, and One Piece.
The One Piece anime will screen a compilation of the ongoing Whole Cake Island arc, and will highlight parts of the Luffy vs. Katakuri fight that have not yet aired. The Dragon Ball Super anime will screen a promotional video for the upcoming Dragon Ball Super: Broly film, which opens in Japan on December 14. The Black Clover anime will highlight the activities of the Magic Knights. The Hinomaru Zumō anime short will tell a spinoff story only shown at the event. The Kimetsu no Yaiba and The Promised Neverland screenings will celebrate the upcoming television anime adaptations of both franchises.
This year's Jump Special Anime Festa event will screen in Tokyo on November 25, and then in Sapporo, Sendai, Nagoya, Osaka, Hiroshima, and Fukuoka on December 2.
