2nd new video features Aimer's theme song for film that opened on Friday

TOHO began streaming two more videos on Wednesday for the live-action film adaptation of Daruma Matsuura's Kasane manga. The first clip previews the "Seven Veil Dance" performed inside the film and a behind-the-scenes look at the rehearsals for the dance. The second video features Aimer's "Black Bird" theme song for the film. The film opened in Japan on Friday.

Tao Tsuchiya (left in picture below) is playing Nina Tanzawa, as well as Kasane with Nina's face. Kyōko Yoshine (right) is playing protagonist Kasane, as well as Nina with Kasane's face. The plot involves the two characters trading faces through the power of a magical tube of lipstick.

The cast also includes Mariko Tsutsui, Tomoko Ikuta, and Kunio Murai.

Yuichi Sato (live-action Nōnai Poison Berry, Sakurako-san no Ashimoto ni wa Shitai ga Umatteiru) directed the film, and Tsutomu Kuroiwa (GANTZ:O, One Piece Film Gold, live-action Black Butler) wrote the script.

Kodansha Comics began releasing the manga digitally in English last May. The company describes the story:

Kasane's face is so hideous, you couldn't bear to look twice at her—and her ugliness has forced her to walk a harsh path in life. But her mother left her something: a tube of lipstick. The power of this lipstick will change everything about her downtrodden life.

Matsuura launched the series in Kodansha's Evening magazine in April 2013 as her debut work, and the series ended on August 10. Kodansha published the 14th compiled volume on Friday. The manga was nominated for the Kodansha Manga Awards and the Manga Taisho Award in 2015.
