The game debuted in English in July.

The latest game in the franchise, Star Ocean 5: Integrity and Faithlessness, shipped in Japan in March 2016 for the PlayStation 4 and for the PlayStation 3 in April 2016. Square Enix released the game in the U.S. for the PS4 only in June 2016.
