This year's 41st issue of Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine revealed on Monday that it will launch two new manga series in the magazine's 42nd issue on September 15 (the 42nd issue ships on a Saturday as Monday, September 17 is a holiday). Both new manga will be gag manga.

Yūshin Kuroki will launch the Shishunki Renaisance! David-kun (Puberty Renaissance! David, pictured right in above image) manga. The manga will center on the "very normal love of a high school student who is a stone statue." The first chapter will have 23 pages.

Kuroki previously published a one-shot with the same title in Weekly Shonen Jump earlier this year. He has also published other one-shots in the magazine, and won an honorable mention in the 57th Jump Treasure Shinjin Mangashō (Jump Treasure Rookie Manga Award) contest in 2012 with the "Megaton Panchira Yoshida" one-shot.

Seiji Hayashi will launch the Jimoto ga Japan manga (pictured left in above image). The "locality gag" manga will "overflow with love for hometowns." Hayashi has previously published the "Oidemase Yamaguchi" one-shot and the Chikyū Ningen Terra-chan short manga series on the Shonen Jump+ website and app.

The issue will also feature a one-shot titled "Apollo" by Fusai Naba, who has previously published works in Shonen Jump GIGA.
