Crunchyroll Adds Aria the Origination, Emma Anime to Catalog

posted on by Rafael Antonio Pineda
Nozomi Entertainment released both series

Crunchyroll announced on Wednesday that it has added Aria the Origination and Emma: A Victorian Romance (both seasons) from Nozomi Entertainment to its catalog. Crunchyroll did not state in what countries and territories the anime are available.

Nozomi Entertainment describes Aria the Origination:

Akari Mizunashi left everything behind to travel to a sparkling planet covered in water, Aqua. More than anything, she wants to be an "undine" - a female gondolier who navigates the canals of the Aquan city of Neo-Venezia. Will she be up to the challenges that await her on the path to achieve her dream?

Aria the Origination is the third season of the anime based on Kozue Amano's Aria manga. The 13-episode anime debuted in 2008. Right Stuf's Nozomi Entertainment label released the anime on DVD in 2010.

Nozomi Entertainment describes Emma: A Victorian Romance:

In 19th-century London, class lines are sharply drawn, and the social standing to which people are born dictates the path their lives will follow. Emma, an honest and hardworking young maid, never felt her place in life to be a burden. But then she met William, a member of the gentry and the eldest son of a wealthy family. His warm smile and earnest affection threaten to capture her heart... but can love truly conquer all?

Emma: A Victorian Romance adapts Kaoru Mori's Emma manga. The first 12-episode season debuted in 2005, while the 12-episode second season debuted in 2007. Nozomi Entertainment released both seasons on DVD in 2008.
