New Animal Crossing Game Announced for Nintendo Switch

Game slated for 2019
Nintendo announced during its Nintendo Direct presentation on Thursday that a new Animal Crossing game is in the works for Nintendo Switch. The game is slated for 2019.
The latest main Animal Crossing game, Animal Crossing: New Leaf, shipped for Nintendo 3DS in Japan in 2012 and in North America in 2013. Nintendo has since also released the Animal Crossing Amiibo Festival board game-style Wii U game and the Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer 3DS game. The Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp app game launched in November.
