Daisuke Kazuwo draws manga based on Tarō Minoboshi's character designs

The November issue of Kadokawa's Monthly Dengeki Maoh magazine revealed on Thursday that LoveR (pronounced "Love - R") — the original dating simulation PlayStation 4 game from Kadokawa Games, producer Ichiro Sugiyama (KimiKiss, Amagami, Photo Kano), and designer Tarō Minoboshi (formerly Mino☆Tarō of Tokimeki Memorial, LovePlus games) — is getting a manga adaptation. Daisuke Kazuwo will draw the manga. The issue stated that it will reveal more information about the manga starting in the magazine's December issue.

Similar to Sugiyama's earlier Photo Kano, the LoveR game has a photography theme. The game will ship on February 14, 2019.

Sugiyama launched Kadokawa Games' Sweet One brand last October, and teased at the time that the brand's initial dating simulation game offering would debut this year with the themes of "photographs" and "movies."

Minoboshi designed characters for Konami Entertainment's Tokimeki Memorial and LovePlus franchises before leaving the company in 2015 and adopting a new pen name.
