Video teases addition of Pokémon from fourth generation
The Pokémon Company International announced with a video on Tuesday that Niantic's Pokémon GO game will begin adding more Pokémon from the Sinnoh region (creatures that first appeared in the generation four games Pokémon Diamond and Pokémon Pearl) "soon."
Niantic began adding third-generation Pokémon from the Hoenn region in December 2017, after first adding a few for a Halloween event.
The Pokémon GO app launched in select countries including the United States in July 2016.
