Rikei ga Koi ni Ochita no de Shōmei Shite Mita Live-Action Film Project Reveals Poster, Stills

The staff of the live-action television series and film adaptation of Alifred Yamamoto's Rikei ga Koi ni Ochita no de Shōmei Shite Mita (Science Fell in Love, So I Tried to Prove It) romantic comedy manga revealed a poster visual and several stills on Sunday for the film adaptation. The poster visual below imitates the cover of the manga's first volume.

The live-action television series premiered on September 1 and aired for four episodes. The film will premiere on February 1. Both adaptations feature the same cast, including Nana Asakawa as Ayame Himuro and Shun Nishime as Shinya Yukimura. Other cast members include Yūka Yano, Tom Fujita, and Karin Ogino.
The manga centers on Ayame Himuro and Shinya Yukimura, two scientists who are in love with each other. They want to prove that their love can be scientifically proven, quantified, and expressed factually.
In the film's story, Ayame finally confesses to Shinya, but he says she must show him scientific proof of her love, or he won't say it back and will disqualify her confession with science. The rest of the labmates get wrapped up in Ayame's experiments to prove her love.
The manga launched on G-mode's Comic Meteor website in 2016, and Holp Shuppan published the manga's fourth compiled book volume on July 11. The manga has more than 400,000 copies in print.
