Voice Actor Mahito Tsujimura Passes Away at 88

Talent agency 81 Produce announced on Thursday that voice actor Mahito Tsujimura passed away on Tuesday. He was 88. His family will hold a private funeral.
Tsujimura voiced King Jihl in Hayao Miyazaki's 1984 film Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind, and also voiced King Raimon in the 1981 anime Beast King GoLion, which served as the basis for Voltron. He voiced the Headmaster character in the long-runnning Nintama Rantaro anime until 2011.
His other roles include Dai Kaiōshin (Dragon Ball Z), Dr. Garuman Thomas (Armored Trooper Votoms: Big Battle), Taida (Matchless Raijin-Oh) Dr. Aomori (Miss Machiko), Aladdin (Sindbad the Sailor), and Konoemon Konoe (Negima!).
He also served as the dub voice of Yoda in the Japanese dub of The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi.
