Dynasty Warriors 8: Xtreme Legends Complete Edition DX Switch Game Previewed in Video

Koei Tecmo Games began streaming a promotional video on Thursday for Shin Sangoku Musō 7 with Mōshōden DX (Dynasty Warriors 8: Xtreme Legends Complete Edition DX), a new version of the Dynasty Warriors 8 (Shin Sangoku Musō 7) game for the Nintendo Switch.
The game will ship in Japan on December 27.
The game will include all released downloadable content for the game in previous platforms, and will be compatible with the save data for other Warriors franchise games released for the Switch. Compatible games will include Dynasty Warriors 8: Empires, Samurai Warriors: Spirit of Sanada, Warriors Orochi 3 Ultimate, and Warriors Orochi 4, with bonuses for transferring save data.
The Dynasty Warriors 8: Xtreme Legends Complete Edition game shipped in Japan for PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita in 2013, and for the PlayStation 4 and PC in 2014.
Dynasty Warriors 9 (Shin Sangoku Musou 8), the latest installment in the franchise, shipped for PS4 in Japan on February 8, and in the West for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC on February 13.
