1st volume of romantic comedy manga ships in Indonesia on January 2

Indonesian publisher M&C! announced on Tuesday that it has licensed Momoko Kōda's No Longer Heroine (Heroine Shikkaku) manga. The company will ship the first volume on January 2.

M&C! describes the manga:

Every girl, at some point or another, imagines herself as the main character in her own love story. With this in mind, Hatori was absolutely sure that she would eventually marry her childhood friend Rita. Unfortunately, real life isn't as sweet as dreams! This is a romantic comedy about the pains of unrequited love.

The manga ran in Shueisha's Bessatsu Margaret magazine from 2010 to 2013, and inspired a live-action film in September 2015. Kōda also drew the 13-volume Sensei Kunshu manga in Bessatsu Margaret from 2013 to 2017, and it inspired a live-action film this past August.

Kōda recently ended the Atashino! (Mine!) manga in November.
