Golden Kamuy Anime's 2nd OVA Adds 2 Cast Members

The official website for the Golden Kamuy anime franchise revealed two new characters and cast members on Thursday who will appear in the second original anime video for the series. Toshio Furukawa will play Chōan Kumagishi (pictured below), and Sumi Shimamoto will play Sister Miyazawa.
The anime will ship on DVD with the 17th volume of Satoru Noda's original manga on March 19. The deadline to pre-order the special edition of the volume with the anime is January 15.
The anime will have a 24-minute runtime. The main portion, "Koi o Shita Kara Datsugoto Suru Koto ni Shita" (I Escaped Because I Fell in Love) will depict a "pure love story" for Escape King Yoshitake Shiraishi. The DVD will also have a mini episode titled "Kyōfu no Mōdoku Dai Shitō! Hokkaidō Okuchi ni Kyodai Hebi wa Sonzai Shita!" (A Deadly Battle With Poison! A Giant Snake Lurks in the Woods of Hokkaido), after the manga's 104th chapter.
The manga's 15th compiled book volume shipped on September 19, and it bundled an anime DVD focusing on the manga's Barato arc.
The anime's first season premiered on April 9. Crunchyroll streamed the series with English subtitles as it aired in Japan, and Funimation streamed it with an English dub. The second season premiered on October 8. Crunchyroll is streaming the series as it airs, and Funimation began streaming an English dub on October 31.
Noda launched the ongoing manga in Shueisha's Young Jump magazine in 2014.
