Pony Canyon Anime Music Producer Masato Suga Passes Away

Producer worked on Ranma ½, Oh My Goddess!, more 90s anime
Anime music producer Masato Suga passed away suddenly on December 11 due to pneumonia. He was 59.
Suga is known for working as an anime music director for Pony Canyon in the 1990s. He worked on anime such as Ranma ½, Oh My Goddess!, and Android Ana Maico 2010. He also produced the works of voice actress and singer Kikuko Inoue (Ranma ½'s Kasumi Tendo, Oh My Goddess!'s Belldandy).
In addition to working as a music producer, Suga worked as a lyricist. He also founded the independent music agency Onion Peeman Company in 2000.
