M&C! Licenses Osamu Mizutani, Seiki Tsuchida's Night Patrol Teacher Manga

1st volume of autobiographical manga ships on January 9
Indonesian publisher M&C! announced on Friday that it has licensed Osamu Mizutani and Seiki Tsuchida's Night Patrol Teacher (Yomawari Sensei) manga, and it will release the first volume on January 9.
M&C! describes the manga:
School strikes, drug abuse, wrist slashing, falling in with the yakuza. He spends countless nights staying by the side of children, hugging them and shedding tears with them. They call him the "Night Patrol Teacher." He helps the children who are lost in the night, treasuring and desperately believing in their lies. In their lies there is hope and a determination to live for tomorrow.
The manga is based on Mizutani's autobiographical book of the same title, focusing on Mizutani's time as a high school teacher patrolling the streets at night for wandering students and helping them. Mizutani and Tsuchida launched the manga in Shogakukan's Ikki magazine in 2005. The manga has 12 total volumes, including nine main volumes and three spinoff volumes.
Tsuchida passed away on April 24, 2012 due to cirrhosis of the liver.
