Kingdom Hearts III Game's 2-Minute Ad Streamed

posted on by Crystalyn Hodgkins
Game launches on PS4, Xbox One in Japan on January 25, worldwide on January 29

Square Enix began streaming a two-minute ad on Thursday for the Kingdom Hearts III game. The ad originally aired on TV Asahi during the "Soccer AFC Asia Cup 2019 Japan x Uzbekistan TV Asahi's 60th Anniversary Commemoration" program.

The official Japanese Twitter account for the game series has been posting a countdown every day for the past six days for the game, with an announcement made with the countdown each day. Starting on Saturday the countdown will include videos.

Square Enix will release the game on January 25 in Japan for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, and on January 29 in the West. Confirmed worlds include Big Hero 6, Toy Story, Tangled, Monsters, Inc., Pirates of the Caribbean, Frozen, and the returning Olympus Coliseum and Winnie-the-Pooh worlds. Square Enix will release postgame video content in the first few days after the game is released.

Music producer Skrillex, singer Hikaru Utada, and record producer Poo Bear are collaborating on the opening theme song "Face My Fears." Utada is also performing the ending theme song "Don't Think Twice" (the song with Japanese lyrics is titled "Chikai" or "Oath"). The single for the opening theme launches on Friday. The game's English audio will also feature returning cast members reprising their roles from various Disney films.

Those who pre-order the game through various outlets will receive a code for keyblade weapon skin.
