1st 2 Psycho-Pass SS Anime Films Previewed in Ads

The official website for the Psycho-Pass anime franchise began streaming two ads on Friday to preview the first two films in the three-film Psycho-Pass SS or Psycho-Pass: Sinners of the System project.
The first film, Psycho-Pass: Sinners of the System Case.1 Tsumi to Batsu (Crime and Punishment), will open in Japan on January 25. Naoyoshi Shiotani is directing the film with a screenplay by Ryō Yoshigami.
The second film, Psycho-Pass: Sinners of the System Case.2 First Guardian, will open in Japan on February 15. Naoyoshi Shiotani is again directing the film, with a screenplay by Makoto Fukami.
The third film, Psycho-Pass: Sinners of the System Case.3 Onshū no Kanata ni ____ (In the Realm Beyond Is ____), will open in Japan on March 8. Naoyoshi Shiotani is again directing the film, with a screenplay by Makoto Fukami.
The films will also have 4D screenings with both 4DX and MX4D in Japan. Those who attend any screenings of the film in Japan will receive a bonus present of an image board with character visuals by character designer Naoyuki Onda while supplies last.
Production I.G is animating all three films and TOHO is distributing.
Masayuki Nakano (from Boom Boom Satellites) has remixed the overall trilogy's theme song as well as each film's ending theme. The overall trilogy's theme is "Abnormalize," Case.1's ending theme is "Fallen," Case.2's ending theme is "All Alone With You," and Case.3's ending theme is "Namae no nai Kaibutsu" (Nameless Monster).
The original Psycho-Pass anime premiered in 2012 and ran for 22 episodes. The 11-episode Psycho-Pass 2 television anime series then premiered in October 2014, and the Psycho-Pass movie opened in Japan in January 2015. Funimation released all three anime on home video. The franchise has inspired several manga adaptations and spinoff manga, as well as the Psycho-Pass: Mandatory Happiness game.
