Sony Interactive Entertainment Promotes Jim Ryan to President & CEO

Sony Interactive Entertainment announced on Tuesday that its President and CEO John (Tsuyoshi) Kodera will step down from the position, while Jim Ryan, the current Deputy President, has been appointed the new President and CEO, effective April 1. Ryan is now also Representative Director and President of Sony Interactive Entertainment Inc., SIE's Japan-based legal entity. In his new position, Ryan will report directly to Sony Corporation President and CEO Kenichi Yoshida.
Kodera will remain on as Deputy President of SIE.
Kodera stepped in as President and CEO of SIE in October 2017, a position formerly occupied by Andrew House. Kodera was the Deputy President before his appointment as President and CEO.
