Asoko Araiya no Shigoto ~Kataomoi Chū no Aitsu to Onnayu de~ Manga Gets TV Anime

Ai Kitano, Kaina Honma star in adaptation of Toyo's adult manga

Toyo's Asoko Araiya no Shigoto ~Kataomoi Chū no Aitsu to Onnayu de~ (A Job Washing There: In the Women's Bath With Her in Unrequited Love) adult manga is inspiring a television anime adaptation. The anime shorts, titled Araiya-san! ~Ore to Aitsu ga Onnayu de!?~ (Washer!: She and I in the Women's Bath!?), will debut on Tokyo MX on April 7 at 25:00 (effectively April 8 at 1:00 a.m.). A "complete edition" will begin streaming on ComicFesta's Anime Zone website on the same day.

In the story, male student Sōta Tsukishima begins working at his family's public bathhouse as a back washer. While concealing her true identity, Sōta's classmate Aoi Yuzuki visits the bathhouse. A relationship between the two begins to develop when Sōta washes Aoi's back.

The anime will star:

Ai Kitano as Aoi Yuzuki

Kaina Honma as Sōta Tsukishima

Ayaka Igasaki as Mei Sasakura

Tetsuto Furukawa as Hidemoto Takasugi

Mitsutaka Noshitani is directing the anime and providing the storyboards at Magic Bus. Kazuhiro Toda is in charge of series composition and the scripts. Nanashi is designing the characters and serving as chief animation director. All three worked together on the previous ComicFesta anime Skirt no Naka wa Kedamono Deshita and Sweet Punishment.

The manga is serializing on the ComicFesta manga website and through other sources digitally.

Previous anime to debut through ComicFesta Anime Zone include Sōryo to Majiwaru Shikiyoku no Yoru ni... in April 2017, Skirt no Naka wa Kedamono Deshita in July 2017, Omiai Aite wa Oshiego, Tsuyoki na, Mondaiji. in October 2017, 25-Sai no Joshi Kōsei: Kodomo ni wa Oshierarenai Koto Shite Yaru yo in January 2018, Sweet Punishment in April, Onna no Ko ga Ochita saki wa, Ore no Musuko no Sakippo Deshita in July, Shūdengo, Capsule Hotel de, Jōshi ni Binetsu Tsutawaru Yoru. in October, and Papa Datte, Shitai in January. The anime have "regular editions" that air on television and "complete editions" with explicit scenes that are available through ComicFesta Anime Zone.
