Switch/PC game launches on April 4 in Japan, on April 5 in West

Bandai Namco Entertainment America began streaming the second feature video for its Super Dragon Ball Heroes: World Mission game on Tuesday. The video previews the game's modes.

The game will launch in Japan for Nintendo Switch on April 4 and in the West for Switch and PC on April 5. Bandai Namco Entertainment America's HERO Edition of the game will bundle five exclusive physical Dragon Ball Super card game playing cards and 11 early-unlock digital character cards.

The game will include 1,160 cards and 350 characters from the first eight Super Dragon Ball Heroes arcade card games, as well as the first two versions of Super Dragon Ball Heroes: Universe Mission. The game will feature a split screen mode that emulates the Super Dragon Ball Heroes arcade game's two-screen gameplay, and will also feature seven-on-seven battles. Toyotarō (Dragon Ball Super manga artist) designed the new character Sealas for the game.

The latest installment in the game series is Super Dragon Ball Heroes: Universe Mission, which Bandai released in arcades in Japan on March 8. The games inspired a promotional anime project that debuted with two episodes in July. The eighth episode will debut on February 24.

Bandai Namco Games released the first Dragon Ball Heroes: Ultimate Mission game, a Nintendo 3DS port of the Dragon Ball Heroes game, in 2013. Bandai Namco Games released the Dragon Ball Heroes: Ultimate Mission 2 Nintendo 3DS game in 2014, and released the Dragon Ball Heroes: Ultimate Mission X game for the 3DS in April 2017.
