posted on by Rafael Antonio Pineda

Indonesian publisher Elex Media Komputindo announced on April 17 that it has licensed Tamiki Wakaki's The Screw People (Neji no Hitobito) manga. The company also announced on Wednesday that it has licensed Masahiro Hirakata's Best Blue and Rei Tōma's The Water Dragon's Bride (Suijin no Hanayome) manga.

Elex Media describes The Screw People:

Have you ever considered the questions: What am I? What is the world? What are other people? What is love? What is life? What is death? After reading this manga, the world will look a little different from before. This book is a bit surprising, and only a little bit useful. So come on and turn the screw in your head!

Wakaki launched the manga in Shogakukan's Ura Sunday website in February 2015, and ended it in December 2016. Shogakukan published three compiled book volumes for the manga.

Elex Media also published all seven volumes of Wakaki's Nanoha Sweet Bakery (Nanoha Yōgashiten no Ii Shigoto) manga, as well as his King of Idol manga. Wakaki launched the Nanoha Sweet Bakery manga in Shogakukan's Shonen Sunday magazine in April 2015, after publishing the "Yōgashiten Galaxy" one-shot manga in the magazine in August 2014. Wakaki ended the manga in October 2016. Wakaki launched King of Idol in Shogakukan's Weekly Shonen Sunday magazine in May 2017, and ended it last year.

Elex Media describes Best Blue:

Takumi Aono lives on one of the remote Ogasawara Islands, far off the coast of Tokyo. He swims alone, without any friends, because he dreams to surpass a "legendary" record. But one day, a swimming coach finally arrives on the island. The story of this turbulent swimming race will begin!

Hirakata launched the manga in Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine in July 2015, and ended it in November 2015. Shueisha published one compiled book volume for the manga.

Elex Media describes The Water Dragon's Bride:

In the midst of her peaceful everyday life, Asahi was suddenly summoned into a fantasy world! Although she quickly finds help in the form of Subaru, the son of an influential family in the village, she was unexpectedly drowned in the lake by Subaru's mother as a sacrifice to the God of Water. And her reaction to said sacrifice?

"A girl like me is a dumb sacrifice for a god!"

A response:

"Then I shall make you my wife!"

The magical destiny of this girl begins!

Tōma launched the manga in Shogakukan's Cheese! magazine in February 2015, and ended it last September. Shogakukan published the manga's 11th and final compiled book volume on January 25.
