Anime Central 2019 to Host Voice Actress Kiyono Yasuno

Anime Central announced on Friday that it will host voice actress and singer Kiyono Yasuno at this year's event. She will attend on Sunday, May 19 for her first appearance at a United States convention.
Yasuno made her major debut in 2011 as Kizuna Todoroki in the Kizuna Ichigeki anime film. Since then, she has played roles such as Macross Delta's Kaname Buccaneer, Aikatsu!'s Sakura Kitaōji, Saekano: How to Raise a Boring Girlfriend's Megumi Katō, Wake Up, Girls!'s Tina Kobayakawa, Ushio & Tora's Mayuko Inoue, and Overlord II's Renner.
Yasuno is also the leader of the Walküre idol unit related to the Macross Delta anime. She debuted as a solo artist in 2017. Yasuno has performed theme songs for anime such as Cardcaptor Sakura: Clear Card, The [email protected] Cinderella Girls, Restaurant to Another World, and Un-Go.
Anime Central 2019 will take place from May 17-19 at the Hyatt Regency O'Hare and Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont, Illinois. Kenichi Sonoda will attend the convention for the world premiere of the Bean Bandit episode 0 anime. Kinema Citrus CEO Muneki Ogasawara will appear alongside staff members from the Revue Starlight, Made in Abyss, and The Rising of The Shield Hero anime. Director Masayuki Kojima, music producer Hiromitsu Iijina, and composer Kevin Penkin will appear for the U.S. premiere of the Made in Abyss: Wandering Twilight film. Cast and staff members for the That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime anime – including director Atsushi Nakayama, character designer Ryouma Ebata, and voice actress Miho Okasaki (Rimuru) – will also attend. Voice actress Aya Suzaki will attend, and voice actresses Mai Nakahara and Natsumi Takamori will attend to mark their first appearances at a North American convention.
Asaka, Sayaka Sasaki, TRUE, and ZAQ will perform in a new showcase concert at the event. Anime Central passes will include admission to the concert. The four singers will also participate in autograph sessions and panels.
