Anime Limited Acquires Gundam Wing, Char's Counterattack

Anime Limited has announced the following acquisitions at MCM London Comic Con:
- Gundam Wing (pictured) will be released as a two-part Collector's Blu-ray; and also as a one-part Deluxe Blu-ray. The Deluxe edition will also contain Mobile Suit Gundam Wing: Endless Waltz, although it is still TBC whether it will be in the feature film or OAV format.
- The feature film Mobile Suit Gundam: Char's Counterattack will be released on Blu-ray in Q3 or Q4.
- Mobile Suit Gundam Thunderbolt: Bandit Flower, the second Gundam Thunderbolt film, will be released as a Collectors Blu-ray in Q3/Q4.
- Mobile Suit Gundam 00 will be released in Q3/Q4, both as a two-part Collectors Blu-ray; and also a one-part Deluxe Blu-ray. The Deluxe Edition which will also contain the film, Mobile Suit Gundam 00 the Movie: A Wakening of the Trailblazer, and the Mobile Suit Gundam 00 Special Edition OAVs.
- There will be a release of the vinyl soundtrack of FLCL, as a two-LP collection in gatefold packaging, to be released in September. (This is the officlal soundtrack to the original series.) It will also be available from online retailers in North America, Europe and other English-speaking territories.

In the panel, it was also confirmed that the distribution deal between Anime Limited and Funimation has now ended, while the titles previously released under that deal are currently under discussion.
