Uta no Prince-sama Film's Video Shows Idol Introductions

The official website for Uta no Prince Sama Maji Love Kingdom, the anime film in the Uta no Prince Sama franchise, began streaming a special promotional video for the film on Friday. The video shows the members of the in-story idol groups ST☆RISH, QUARTET NIGHT, and HE★VENS as the members introduce themselves. The video also shows portions of the concert scenes in the film.
Starting from the film's second week of screenings on Friday, the film will have an added encore song titled "Welcome to UTA☆PRI KINGDOM!!" by the in-story idol groups ST☆RISH, QUARTET NIGHT, and HE★VENS. ST☆RISH will also have a new "message" for theatergoers in the middle of the song.
Sentai Filmworks licensed the film, and the film will have a premiere screening on July 5 at this year's Anime Expo event. Voice actors Takuma Terashima (Otoya Ittoki) and Mamoru Miyano (Tokiya Ichinose) will be in attendance. Sentai Filmworks will also screen the film in U.S. theaters at a later date.
Utano☆Princesama Legend Star director Takeshi Furuta is returning as chief director, and Utano☆Princesama Legend Star episode director Tomoka Nagaoka is directing at A-1 Pictures. Hiroshi Nakajima (Fate/Apocrypha, Brotherhood: Final Fantasy XV) is serving as CG director. Maki Fujioka is returning to design the characters based on Chinatsu Kurahana's original designs. Fujioka is also the chief animation director. Katsuyoshi Miyajima (Cyborg 009 Call of Justice, AKB0048 next stage) is the character modeling supervisor. Elements Garden is returning to compose the music. Mamoru Miyano performs the film's theme song "Encore."
The film's cast members are reprising their roles from previous anime in the franchise.
