Crunchyoll Expo Hosts Rock Band FLOW

5-member rock band to perform concert at event on August 30

The organizers of the Crunchyroll Expo event announced on Saturday that the event will host rock band FLOW as musical guests for the convention. The band will perform at the convention on August 30. Congoers will need to purchase separate tickets for the concert.

FLOW consists of vocalists Kohshi and Keigo, guitarist Take, bassist Got's, and drummer Iwasaki. The band began when the brothers Kohshi and Take began playing together. The band debuted in 2001 with their self-released "Flow #0" single. The band signed with Ki/oon Music and released their first major-label single, "Blaster," in 2003.

The band have performed theme songs for such anime as Eureka Seven, EUREKA SEVEN AO, Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion (both seasons), The Seven Deadly Sins, Naruto, Naruto Shippūden, Durarara!!×2 Ketsu, Tales of Zestiria the X, Heroman, The Seven Deadly Sins: Revival of The Commandments, Samurai Flamenco, and Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Gods.

Crunchyroll Expo will be held at the San Jose McEnery Convention Center in California from August 30 to September 1. Other guests include voice actor Ryo Horikawa, horror manga artist Junji Ito, voice actresses Yuu Asakawa and Miho Okasaki, Wit Studio's George Wada, and composer Yasuharu Takanashi. The Mob Psycho 100 anime's voice actor Setsuo Ito (voice of Mob), director Yuzuru Tachikawa, character designer Yoshimichi Kameda, and character designer Terumi Nishii will also attend this year's event. The Rising of The Shield Hero opening theme song performers MADKID, Myne voice actress Sarah Emi Bridcutt, character designer Masahiro Suwa, music composer Kevin Penkin, and producer Junichiro Tamura will appear at the convention. Additionally, the event will host the world premiere of the Somali and the Forest Spirit anime and the Mob Psycho 100 II: The First Spirits and Such Company Trip ~A Journey that Mends the Heart and Heals the Soul~ OVA.

Music producers Teddyloid and HEAVYGRINDER will appear for the convention's kick-off party on August 29.
