Gundam Battle: Gunpla Warfare Smartphone Game Launches in N. America in Summer

Bandai Namco Entertainment announced on Tuesday that it will release the Gundam Battle: Gunpla Warfare smartphone game for iOS and Android devices in North America this summer. The smartphone game will be the franchise's first available in North America. The company also began streaming an announcement trailer for the release.
The Gundam plastic model (Gunpla) product line is inspiring the smartphone game. The game will feature exclusive characters and Gunpla in an original story. Players will aim to win tournaments to save their school's Gunpla club from shutting down. The game will let players create custom mecha models and battle in real-time third-person combat. Gundam parts from more than 25 anime series will be available. Gunpla job license types in the game will include In-Fighter, Defender, and Support.
Pre-registration for the game is available for Android devices now, and pre-registration for iOS will be available soon. Pre-registered players will receive in-game rewards based on the total number of pre-registrations. Bandai Namco Entertainment will also offer a demo of the game at San Diego Comic-Con, which will be held at San Diego Convention Center from July 18-21.
