Crunchyroll to Stream Isekai Cheat Magician Anime

Anime premieres in Japan on July 10

Crunchyroll announced on Friday that it will stream the television anime of Takeru Uchida's Isekai Cheat Magician (Fantasy World Cheat Magician) novel series, and is also streaming a preview video for the anime. The anime will stream worldwide except in Asia and French speaking territories in Europe. Crunchyroll did not announce a debut date for the stream.

The anime will debut on AT-X on July 10 at 10:00 p.m. before airing later that evening on Tokyo MX, KBS Kyoto, and Sun TV. The show will also air on TV Aichi and BS11.

The anime stars:

Daisuke Tsukushi (episode director on Croisée in a Foreign Labyrinth - The Animation, Full Metal Panic! Invisible Victory, Girly Air Force) is making his series directorial debut with the anime, and Encourage Films is animating the series. Takayo Ikami (Penguindrum, Yuri Kuma Arashi, Beautiful Bones -Sakurako's Investigation-) is in charge of the series scripts. Shuji Maruyama (Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's) is designing the characters. Yoshiaki Fujisawa (The Eccentric Family, Love Live! School idol project, A Place Further Than the Universe) is composing the music. MYTH&ROID will perform the opening theme song "Panta Rhei," and Takahashi will perform the ending theme song as her character Rin.

Nishimura Taichi is a typical, average high schooler, and Azuma Rin is a beautiful woman with the build of a model and excellent reflexes.

The two live a normal high school life until one day they're suddenly enveloped in a mysterious magic circle and transported to an unknown land.

That world is full of terrifying monsters, beastmen, dwarves, elves, and many other races right out of fantasy.

In order to survive in this new world Taichi and Rin decide to become adventurers, but when they take the aptitude test they discover they both possess cheat level magic...
