Singapore's ANIME @ NORTH WEST Event Hosts Eri Sasaki, Lotus Juice, ORESAMA

Singapore event takes place on July 27-28

Anime Festival Asia announced last week that its ANIME @ NORTH WEST event in Singapore will host singer Eri Sasaki, rapper Lotus Juice, and ORESAMA as guests.

Sasaki debuted with her first single "Ring of Fortune" in 2015. The title song was used as the opening theme song for the Plastic Memories original television anime. Her fourth and most recent single, "Harukanaru Tabi," shipped last October, with the title song used as the ending theme song for the Bakumatsu anime. Her third single, "Fuyubiyori," was used as the ending theme song for the Laid-Back Camp anime. She has also performed songs for games, such as the YU-NO remake, Steins;Gate 0, the My Teen Romantic Comedy SNAFU TOO! game, and the Super Neptunia RPG game.

Lotus Juice has provided music for much of the Persona game and anime series, including the theme songs for Persona 3 the Movie #2 Midsummer Knight's Dream, Persona 3 the Movie #3 Falling Down, Persona 4 The Animation, Persona -trinity soul-, Persona 3, Persona 3 Fes, Persona 3 Portable, and Persona 2 OP. He has also provided music for anime including JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, Soul Eater, Noragami, The irregular at magic high school, Black Butler, and Bungo Stray Dogs, among others.

ORESAMA is an electronic retro disco musical duo consisting of vocalist PON and producer Hideya Kojima. The duo produced their debut single "Ōkami Heart" in 2014, and the title song served as the ending song for the Wolf Girl & Black Prince. The duo released their self-titled first album in 2015. The group's third single "Wonder Drive" debuted in 2017 as the opening song for the Alice & Zoroku anime, and their fourth and fifth singles also served as opening songs for the Magical Circle Guru-Guru anime. The duo's second album Hi-Fi POPS shipped in 2018. The group's sixth single served as the ending song for the Muhyo & Roji's Bureau of Supernatural Investigation anime, and the seventh and latest single, "OPEN THE WORLDS," debuted as the ending song of the second season of the Million Arthur anime in April. Vocalist PON also served as the vocalist for the "ONE III NOTES" group that performed the "Shadow and Truth" opening song and the "Our Place" ending song for the ACCA anime.

The Singapore event will take place at the Nee Soon Central Community Centre on July 27 and 28.
