Streaming Service AsianCrush Adds Fusé, The Princess and the Pilot Films

Digital Media Rights' streaming services AsianCrush and Midnight Pulp announced last Friday the new anime they are adding for the month of July.

New anime for AsianCrush include: Fusé: Memoirs of a Huntress, The Princess and the Pilot, and Jungle Emperor Leo (1997 film). All three anime are available now. New anime for Midnight Pulp include: Virtua Fighter (English dub, available now), Twilight of the Cockroaches (available now), and the Area 88 OVA (available on July 26). AsianCrush licensed Fusé: Memoirs of a Huntress, The Princess and the Pilot, and Virtua Fighter from TMS Entertainment.

The Fusé: Memoirs of a Huntress film debuted in Japan in October 2012. NIS America released the film on Blu-ray Disc in May 2014.

The Princess and the Pilot film debuted in Japan in 2011. NIS America released the film on Blu-ray Disc in May 2013.

The Jungle Emperor Leo anime film debuted in 1997, based on Osamu Tezuka's Jungle Taitei manga, also known in the United States as Kimba the White Lion. Discotek Media released the film on Blu-ray Disc in December 2016.

The Virtua Fighter series based on Sega's fighting game franchise debuted in 1995. Media Blasters released the anime on VHS volumes from 2000 to 2001, and on DVD in 2003.

The Twilight of the Cockroaches film debuted in 1987, and combines live action with animation by Madhouse. Streamline Pictures released the film on VHS in North America with an English version produced by Carl Macek. Discotek Media released the film on Blu-ray Disc on February 26.

The Area 88 OVA debuted in 1985, based on Kaoru Shintani's manga of the same name. The same manga inspired a 2004 television anime. Discotek Media released the anime on DVD last October.
