Tekken 7 Game's Season Pass 3 Revealed With Zafina, Leroy

Evo tournament clarifies Snake tease as "joke"

Bandai Namco Entertainment America announced on Sunday at the Evolution Championship Series 2019 fighting game tournament that its Tekken 7 game is getting a third Season Pass. As part of the season pass, the character Zafina will join the game in September, and a new original character named Leroy Smith will debut this winter. The season pass will include two other new characters, a new feature, and a new stage. Zafina will not appear in the game's Story Mode.

Bandai Namco Entertainment also stated that it will release a new update that will have new moves for all the characters in the game.

While the Evo tournament also seemingly teased the character Snake from the Metal Gear Solid franchise for the game (at a moment that was not shown on the event's livestream), the official Twitter account for Evo later stated:

Just to clear things up, the Snake cameo video that we showed during Tekken finals was our idea of a little joke. It was not intended to imply a character reveal, and was done on our own, without consulting Bandai Namco. Sorry for any confusion!

Tekken 7 launched for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Windows PC via Steam on in June 2017. The game added Geese Howard from SNK's Fatal Fury and King of Fighters games as a playable character in November 2017, as well as Noctis Lucis Caelum from Square Enix's Final Fantasy XV game in March 2018.

The game's second Season Pass launched in September 2018 with new playable characters Anna and Lei Wulong. Armor King and Craig Marduk joined the game as DLC characters in December, and Julia and Negan (the latter from The Walking Dead franchise) joined the game as DLC characters on February 28.
