  • Mashū Ishiwatari as Morihito Arihara
  • Chihiro Yoshida as Sōshi Kagurazaka
  • Shinichirō Ueda as Ren Munakata

The original CD series follows the formation and development of the SOARA band. The film will cover the content of the first CD in the series and show the group members in high school before they made their debut.

The franchise's staff announced in November that the Tsukiuta. THE ANIMATION anime series is getting a second season titled Tsukiuta. THE ANIMATION 2. The television anime adapts the music and original drama CD series about anthropomorphized months. The franchise centers around the Tokyo idol unit Six Gravity (composed of characters representing December to May) and the sibling rival unit Procellarum (composed of idols born in Western Japan and representing June to November).

The first Tsukiuta. THE ANIMATION television anime season premiered in Japan in July 2016. Funimation streamed the series as aired in Japan, and then offered it on Blu-ray Disc in September 2017.

The TsukiPro franchise has also spawned the TsukiPro the Animation television anime based on four of its other groups: SOARA, Growth, SolidS, and QUELL. The anime premiered in October 2017 and Crunchyroll streamed the anime as it aired. The anime is getting a sequel. The SolidS and QUELL groups are starring in a separate stage play series titled SolidS & Quell on Stage (S.Q.S), and its second episode ran in Japan from November 1-11 at Hulic Hall Tokyo.
