Capcom Teases 'Project Resistance' PS4/Xbox One/PC Project for Resident Evil Series

Project's teaser trailer to stream on September 9

CAPCOM opened a teaser website for "Project Resistance," a new Resident Evil series project for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC via Steam. The company will stream a teaser trailer on its YouTube channel on September 9 at 11:00 a.m. EDT. CAPCOM will show "Project Resistance" at its booth during Tokyo Game Show 2019, which will run from September 12 to 15 at Makuhari Messe in Chiba.

Tokyo Game Show attendees will be able to play "Project Resistance" by advance registration. Members of the development team will show off the first look at gameplay at the booth's stage during the following times (all times in JST):

  • September 12 - 12:30-1:10 p.m.
  • September 13 - 12:00-12:40 p.m.
  • September 14 - 11:50 a.m.-12:30 p.m.
  • September 15 - 3:30-4:30 p.m.

The original Resident Evil (Biohazard) survival horror game debuted for PlayStation in 1996. Resident Evil 7: biohazard shipped for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC in January 2017. The game shipped in Japan under the title Biohazard 7: resident evil. CAPCOM's remake of the Resident Evil 2 survival horror game launched for the PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One on January 25.
