Manga based on anime launched in January 2018

The October issue of Shogakukan's Coro Coro Comic magazine published the final chapter of Atsushi Oba's Inazuma Eleven: Ares no Tenbin (Inazuma Eleven: The Scales of Ares) manga on September 14. Shogakukan will publish the manga's fourth and final compiled book volume in October.

The manga is based on the anime of the same name. In the anime's story, protagonist Asuto Inamori's soccer club is disbanded after the school's soccer field is destroyed. He and friends go to Tokyo to attend Raimon-chuu (Raimon Junior High) to play soccer. The story is set after the first Inazuma Eleven anime and game. However, the show takes place in a parallel world from all other Inazuma Eleven soccer role-playing games (apart from the first), because the story has taken a different course. The manga focuses on the character Asuto Inamon.

Oba launched the manga in Coro Coro Comics in January 2018.

The anime premiered in April 2018. A new anime titled Inazuma Eleven: Orion no Kokuin (Inazuma Eleven: The Seal of Orion) premiered last October.
