Aniplus-Asia announced on Friday that it will air a simulcast of the anime of FUNA's Didn't I Say to Make My Abilities Average in the Next Life?! (Watashi, Nōryoku wa Heikinchi de tte Itta yo ne!) light novel series that will premiere on October 11 at 6:00 p.m. GMT +8.

The company also revised its premiere time for its airing of the Kemono Michi: Rise Up anime. The anime will still premiere on Sunday, October 6, but will now air at 11:30 p.m. GMT +8.

Aniplus-Asia describes Didn't I Say to Make My Abilities Average in the Next Life?!:

Slightly above-average “honor student” high-schooler Misato Kurihara led a life that was far from lonesome. One day, she reincarnates in another world after she met with an accident. With a desire to make friends like a normal girl and lead a normal life, she makes a wish to God: “Please make my abilities average in that world!” However, God bestows upon her something that is far from “average”…

In a world where magic exists, the reincarnated girl struggles to achieve her “normal” happiness! Through her encounter with a mage named Reina, a swordswoman-to-be Mavis, and the daughter of a merchant, Pauline, Mile's new life in another world begins!

The anime will premiere in Japan on October 7.

Masahiko Ohta (Minami-ke, Yuruyuri - Happy Go Lily, Gabriel DropOut) is directing the anime at project No.9. Takashi Aoshima, who has worked with Ohta on many of the series he directed, is in charge of series composition. Sō Watanabe (Momo Kyun Sword, Girls Beyond the Wasteland episode animation director) is drawing the character designs.

Cast members Azumi Waki, Sora Tokui, and Masumi Tazawa will perform the opening theme song "Smile Skill=Sukisukiskill" as their respective characters and under the unit name Akaki Chikai. Waki will also perform the ending theme song "Genzai ↑ Banzai ↑" as Mile.
