Shinichiro Watanabe Will Be Guest at MCM London

MCM London Comic Con has announced that director Shinichiro Watanabe (Macross Plus, Cowboy Bebop, Samurai Champloo, Kids on the Slope, Chief Director of Carole & Tuesday, pictured left) will be the Guest of Honour at the upcoming October event at London's ExCel Centre, attending a panel on October 26.
The event will also feature Motonobu Hori, the director of Carole & Tuesday. His previous credits include Napping Princess (storyboard and Animation Director), the Berserk: The Golden Age Arc film trilogy (storyboard) and Animation Director on episodes of Psycho-Pass.
Both Watanabe and Hori will be on an Anime Guest of Honour panel at the Centre Stage on Saturday October 26 from 11.15 a.m. They will also have free signing sessions on both the Saturday and the Sunday (October 27) from 2.30 p.m. to 3.30 p.m. The location of the signing is TBC.
