Voice Actress Minako Kotobuki to Start 1-Year Study Abroad in U.K. Next Spring

Voice actress Minako Kotobuki revealed on her official blog on Wednesday that she will study abroad in the United Kingdom for one year beginning in spring 2020. Kotobuki plans to continue to work while in the U.K. to the extent that she is able.
Kotobuki will study language and drama during her time in the U.K. She also said that she hopes to see and learn more about the world and pursue personal growth.
Kotobuki noted that she joined her current agency Music Ray'n at the age of 14 years. Including her previous work as a child, Kotobuki has been involved in the voice acting and idol industry for about 18 years.
Kotobuki's anime roles include Sound! Euphonium's Asuka Tanaka, Tiger & Bunny's Karina Lyle, Glitter Force Doki Doki's Rikka Hishikawa, Fairy gone's Sweety, Berserk's Rickert, Aikatsu!'s Mizuki Kanzaki, Bloom Into You's Tōko Nanami, and A Certain Scientific Railgun's Mitsuko Kongō.
The voice actress has performed many anime theme songs as part of Sphere, a four-member voice actress and idol group. The group has performed songs for anime including Bakuman. 3, Zakuro, Natsu-iro Kiseki, Squid Girl Season 2, Hatsukoi Limited, and Hanasaku Iroha - Blossoms for Tomorrow. The first episode of Gekidan Sphere (Sphere Theater Troupe), the live-action television series starring Sphere, premiered on Wednesday.
